As a public patient, Dr Guzman will place you on a public waitlist for your procedure. As Royal Prince Alfred Hospital is an accredited teaching hospital, your surgery may be performed by Dr Guzman’s training registrar, under his direct supervision.

Alternatively, being admitted as a private self-insured patient, Dr Guzman assures you that he will be the primary surgeon operating on you. Whilst there is an associated fee with this type of admission, you can claim a rebate from Medicare for the procedure.

How much will my surgery cost?

  • Following your consultation, Dr Guzman will provide you with an estimate of his fees which will outline the cost of his services and the estimated rebates you will receive from your health fund.
